Driveway Cut

"A curb cut is an opening in the curb created to allow a driveway or a right of way to enter from the street. A curb cut permit is usually required by the Town or City to allow the opening to be constructed within the curb itself."

Driveway cuts are usually needed whenever a sidewalk is installed after a house is built, and need very specific equipment to handle. Driveway cuts are used to help pedestrians who may be walking on the sidewalk know where the sidewalk continues so they don't have to walk on other citizen's properties and disturb that driveway. We prepare a padding and area with dirt and other materials for cement to soon be poured.
